+ C Logan Fawcett (Wetumpka, 2026) continues to raise his stock as one of the top uncommitted catchers in Alabama's 2026 class. Listed at 6-foot, 195-pounds, Fawcett has some present strength to the build that should certainly hold more in the future. The strength continues to show up in the offensive profile, as he showcased some fairly effortless pull-side pop during yesterday's contest, highlighted by a booming grand slam to RF in his second at-bat. Using a square and balanced left-handed setup with higher hand-set, Fawcett works the barrel on an upward path through contact, and incorporates strength from the ground-up to impact. The swing works cleanly through the zone with some fluidity to it, while flashing a strong gap-to-gap apporach in the heart of the order. A quality reciever behind the plate with some arm strength, the left-handed bat and budding power is what raises the overall profile as a prospect. A multi-year starter for the Indians since his freshman season, Fawcett has been a consistent in-game performer with the bat and will only continue to garner more interest if he keeps swinging it in the same manner as yesterday.
