+ OF Jaden Charles (Hazel Green, 2025) continues to excel in the two-hole for the Trojans, turning in a perfect 3-for-3 performance at the plate. His offensive game has taken a significant leap in his senior season, complementing his elite speed (6.27 laser) and strong defensive play in center field. Charles keeps his approach simple and efficient, driving his hands directly to the ball with a mostly flat barrel path. He consistently finds the barrel in all parts of the zone and shows the ability to spray line drives to all fields, favoring the middle of the field. On Monday, he was a key catalyst for the offense, scoring twice and driving in four of the Trojans' 13 runs. As one of the state’s most improved hitters, the uncommitted senior is quickly becoming a highly sought-after prospect.
