THE TOP 10

The top 10 remains largely unchanged in this update, with Fayetteville teammates INF/RHP Landon Schaefer (Arkansas) and RHP Mark Brissey (Arkansas) firmly holding their spots at the top of our rankings.

RHP Peyton Lee (Maumelle; Arkansas) claims the No. 3 spot after a standout performance at this February’s Super 60 in Chicago, where he lit up the radar gun with a fastball reaching 94.9 mph and showcased a swing-and-miss slider in the upper 70s to low 80s.

The most significant movement in the top 10 comes from 2023 Future Games alum, LHP Jackson Estes (North Little Rock; Crowder College). The talented southpaw has been up to 95 mph from the left side, climbing nine spots to claim the No. 4 ranking in this update. At 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, Estes is a must see arm the class.

The core of the top 10 remains intact, with RHP Grant Wren (Melbourne; Arkansas), RHP Cael Turner (Cabot; Oklahoma State), RHP McLane Moody (Northside; Arkansas), OF Jaison DeLamar (Fayetteville; Arkansas), and INF Luke Cornelison (Har-Ber; Arkansas) holding steady in the No. 4-8 spots.

INF Walt Jones (Ashdown; Arkansas) is the other newcomer to the top 10 in this update, climbing from No. 11 to No. 10.

RISERS AND NEWCOMERS

INF Blaize Ward (Maumelle; Missouri) climbs one spot to No. 13 in this update following another standout performance at the Arkansas Preseason All-State in February. The left-handed hitter stole the show, leading the event in peak exit velocity and repeatedly eclipsing triple digits throughout his round.

A trio of right-handers make significant leaps in this update. RHP Caleb Short (Catholic; Louisiana Tech) climbs nine spots to No. 13, while RHP/OF Jayde Taylor (Valley View), one of the top uncommitted prospects in the class, jumps 10 spots to No. 22. Taylor showcased his two-way talent at the Senior Future Games last summer, running his fastball up to 88 mph and recording exit velocities up to 101 mph. Meanwhile, RHP Joseph Canzoneri (Rogers; Connors State) makes the biggest move, surging 33 spots to No. 37.

One of the biggest risers in this update, C Cooper Cothran (Bentonville; Fort Scott CC) skyrockets more than 60 spots to No. 43. The senior backstop made his Prep Baseball debut last year at the Northwest Arkansas Preseason ID and continued to impress at the Top Prospect Games: Upperclass, where he posted some of the top pop times and catcher velocities in Arkansas for the 2024 showcase circuit.
