Phoenix, AZ – Thankfully, the near 40 mph winds that blew across the complex on opening night backed off the rest of the week, but scorching performances of some of the west coast’s top MLB Draft prospects did not. A slew of elite players descended on the greater Phoenix area in a tournament that spanned four days with much of the action taking place at the Legacy Sports Complex in Mesa. With four fields nestled tightly together, it provided an easy scouting opportunity for the hoards of big league clubs in attendance.
