Their was no shortage of energy in the Coyotes season opener as the #2 ranked College of Southern Nevada Coyotes take on conference rival and #22 ranked Salt Lake Community College.

SLCC jumps out early with a leadoff single by Kurtis Hansen followed up by a blast to right center field by Sean Keating off of a Cuevas 94 mph fastball, but were unable to scrape anymore runs across the rest of the inning. CSN answered back quickly with a sharp leadoff single by Oregon signee and First Team All-American IF, Dax Fellows. A pair of walks loaded the bases before uncommitted 1B and Kentucky bounce back, Justin Olson, doubled down the left field line bringing in two runs. The Coyotes scratched two more across before the inning concluded.
