Scouting Report: The No. 5 2016 in Colorado, Cotton is an impressive looking athlete with a 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame. He has no wasted movement at the plate, hitting from a balanced, athletic stance. His load is smooth and his stride is short. His bat speed and lower half are explosive and he has line drive, gap-to-gap power. He displays confidence in the outfield with good actions and throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with good carry. He runs a 6.8-second 60.
