Tampa, FL - Last night featured a huge District Championship matchup between Berkeley Prep and Calvary Christian. A wild one went down that would take 9 innings to crown a champion and was intense the entire way through.

2023 LHP Paul Guerne (Duke) got the start for Calvary. Lean 5-foot-10, 170 pound frame. Comes from a deceptive ¾ arm slot sitting 85-87 T88 with the fastball and showed a swing and miss slider. He went the first 3.2 innings allowing 3 runs with 6 strikeouts.

On the other side, 2022 RHP JT Quinn (Ole Miss) started for Berkeley. Imposing 6-foot-6, 200 pound frame. Sat 87-89 topping 91 with the fastball. Quinn would go the first 3 innings allowing 3 runs, 2 earned with 4 strikeouts.
