A former top-ranked prep prospect in Pennsylvania and PBR Futures Game participant, Karstetter has strength in his 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame that shows in his right-handed power potential. He can get to that power with relative ease, using his lower half well, with a bat path that yields lots of hard, pull-side contact. Karstetter is a plus runner who moves well on the left side of the infield, showing the athleticism, actions and arm strength needed to play either left-side position.
