East Coast Pro: Uncommitted Player Breakdown

By Doug Freeman
Florida Scouting Director

The East Coast Pro tryouts include most of the top players in Florida's 2018 class. Although the majority of the player's in attendance, there were also many talented players that are still uncommitted. Today we take a look at the evaluation and video of these players.

JUSTIN STEWARTRHP / 1B / BARTOW, FL / 2018

Stewart has struggled at times to find the strike zone consistently at times, has a big frame with a strong lower half. During the tryout though, he was getting better extension and with less effort was throwing strikes with a 90-92 mph fastball, which is the best I've seen it. Also showed a quality curveball at 74-77 with decent shape and a feel for a changeup at 82-83 mph
