The 6A Regional Final game matched No. 2 Archbishop McCarthy against No. 8 Eau Gallie HS. McCarthy sent RHP Daniel Federman to the mound, while Eau Gallie sent Carter Stewart.  McCarthy took the lead in the first from an Adan Fernandez RBI double, but Stewart settled in and the game became a pitcher’s duel from there on out. Both Federman and Stewart would work 90-92 mph with their fastballs, attacking hitters to both sides of the plate. Stewart would use his plus slider at 76-79 mph as his put away pitch on three of his four strikeouts.
