OUTLOOK

The Aggies return four of the top six hitters from the 2017 team that made a run to the Regional Finals. Led offensively in 2017 by Reid Halfacre who batted .344 with 11 doubles and 16 RBIs. Tate will look to a pair of juniors, both committed to Division 1 schools, to make a big jump and big impact offensively in Mason Land and Raymond LaFleur. Gabe Castro will look to lead the pitching staff after going 9-1 with 2 saves in 2017. The Aggies will again look to LaFleur to make a bigger impact after going 4-0 with a 0.77 ERA with 43 strikeouts in 27.1 innings in 2017. The young talent with returning experience brings Tate in at No 12 in the Preseason Power 25.
