EMERSON, GA—At the Georgia Dugout Club Tournament Saturday, each team played two games, making for a day filled with notable performances. One of the top ones was 2021 LHP/OF Carter Holton (Benedictine Military School, GA), a Vanderbilt recruit. Standing at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, he works quickly from a 3/4 slot with a short action. Holton struck out seven of the first eight batters he faced. His control wavered in the fourth inning and he allowed two runs on two hits and two walks. He finished with four innings pitched, three hits and three walks allowed, while striking out 10.
