Biggest Winner: Terrance Bowen, SS, 2025, Blessed Trinity
From his first at-bat of the weekend, it was clear that was absolutely locked in at the plate. The Oklahoma State commit and recent Super 60 participant proceeded to hit .500 out of the leadoff spot with four doubles and four runs scored, but that just scratches the surface of the showing. Quality ABs every time he stepped into the box with consistent hard-hit contact against both velo and spin. 5 of his hits on the week left the barrel at 92+ including the hardest hit ball that I’ve seen at Lakepoint with a 107.9 2B that made an instant impact on Friday night. Bowen showed ability to make adjustments throughout the week, seeing many different arms and found ways to beat good pitches throughout while showing excellent accuracy in the barrel. Defensively, Bowen boasts a plus arm at SS that can make accurate throws in the hole with ease and showed some improved range while moving in all directions. Made a leaping catch with full extension in shallow LF in the late stages on Saturday night to put a cap on what was as good of a start to a senior season that you can have.
Barrel party to open the year for 2025 SS Terrance Bowen.

The @OSUBaseball commit showed the premium bat speed on a pair of pull-side 2B.

Favorite Hitter: Austin Tamborra, OF, 2027, North Cobb Christian
The North Cobb Christian outfielder has been a consistent winner among our staff for the last 12 months, and Tamborra continued that trend in spades this past weekend. The ability to turn on the baseball to the pull-side really stands out with present bat speed and impact in the barrel. With quiet, simple actions at the plate, Tamborra creates above-average bat speed in a very compact swing that generates easy loft on contact. The OF opened the week with a standup 2B on the first pitch he saw, driving the ball deep into the LF corner. Handling premium velocity was a separator for Tamborra, showing the hand speed and accuracy in the barrel to handle 90+ on multiple occasions including two impressive knocks in the last game of the weekend with a 100 EV 1B and pull-side no doubt HR on elevated 89 MPH fastball. There’s a ton of parallels in the profile of Tamborra and one of the top players in the 2025 class, John Stuetzer, which only bodes well for potential and future of the sophomore.
2027 OF Austin Tamborra has seen velo extremely well this weekend.

Turns 89 around here in a hurry for the pull-side HR. Stays compact with present bat speed consistently showing.

Favorite Pitcher: Reid Worley, RHP, 2025, Cherokee
I’m not sure there's many more superlatives I can give to the Kennesaw State commit, but all Worley does is impress. As he begins to get more and more stretched out this spring, it was our first opportunity to see the RHP in an extended outing since the late fall. Worley would proceed to punch out 8 to just 1 walk in 4.0 no-hit innings. Fastball usage was mixed between the two and four seam with tremendous success in both. Big carrying life flashed with the four seam and showed ability to get heavy sink and run with the two, while sitting 90-93 with both. Slider remains one of the premier breaking balls in the class with both an innate ability to manipulate and feel to spin (3000+ RPM) at 80-83. Locked up many of the RHH in the lineup by landing backdoor consistently, while also showing big-time sweep at times to cause heavy swing-and-miss. Changeup shown in warm-ups but wasn't needed in what was a dominant outing for Worley as he looks to stake his claim as one of the top RHP in the country this spring.
First extended look at 2025 RHP Reid Worley this spring, and the @KSUOwlsBaseball commit did not disappoint.

Sleeper to know: Walker Killimett, OF, 2026, Walton
Not essentially a sleeper among our staff as a 2024 Future Gamer and two-time preseason all-state participant, but the Walton CF remains uncommitted while offering a plethora of tools to help a team win at the next level. High-level bat-to-ball skills paired with present above-average speed (6.60 runner) allow Killimett to be a spark-plug type in the leadoff spot. Picked up hits in each of the games on the weekend with 4:0 K:BB as well. Aptitude to work backside and spoil good pitches allow the OF to be a consistently tough out in nearly every at-bat. A ballhawk with excellent range in the outfield that's strengthened with strong routes and obvious foot speed point to an above-average ceiling in center long-term. These are the types of “gamer” profiles that provide immense value to success every single year.
CF Walker Killimett (Walton, GA, 2026) stays hot today, reaching safely in all three PAs, pair of two-strike hits here ⤵️.

Compact strength, jumpstarts the lineup, athlete; 6.60 runner with CF defense.

Underclass impact: Easton Holmes, RHP, 2028, Denmark
It was a brief first look at the freshman arm this past Saturday, but the immense arm talent was easy to see. Standing a physical 6-foot-1, 180-pounds, Holmes shows advanced body control for the class with an easy, repeatable delivery and present arm speed. Fastball shows tremendous potential, sitting 86-88 T89.2 with big arm-side life and carry through the zone. Generated some easy swing-and-miss at the top of the zone and much more velo to project. Slider potentially is as advanced as ive seen before from a freshman arm at 79-82 with sharp, tight horizontal break and present feel to spin (Avg. 2450 RPM). Showed the confidence to throw in any count with swing-and-miss traits flashing. Changeup was used sparingly at 81-83, but glove-side tumble showed with feel for the zone as well. Chance to be a household name in the class nationally in due time. Name to know.
Electricity from the freshman class to close the night.
