Junior College Draft Prospects

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

Ahead of the junior college rankings being released, The Hotlist highlights several top prospects to know for the 2020 MLB Draft.

Franco Aleman, RHP, St. Johns River State (FL) JC (Sophomore)
At 6-foot-6 235 pounds, Aleman has an excellent frame and could become a household name by next June. He shows power in his big frame, coming right after hitters with a low-90s sinking fastball and snapping off a low-80s breaking ball to go along with an above average changeup and plus pitchability. The delivery is easy and repeatable, as his durable frame should allow him to maintain a starter’s workload throughout a season.
