October 13, 2020
PBR Iowa strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
HEINEN: Iowa Western Community College, Kirkwood Community College, Rock Valley Community College, Grand View, and a variety of Division III schools.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
HEINEN: Visits are being scheduled for this fall.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
HEINEN: My major is undecided so I’m looking for a school where I start working on my general education requirements and explore a variety of major options. I also hope to play baseball at the highest level possible. I’m very open to the JUCO route, but would also consider a 4-year school if it is a good fit for me.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
HEINEN: I loved being able to spend time with the guys everyday and making some memories that will last me a lifetime. I love the challenge of being in the CIML and competing against some of the top talent in the state week after week. The biggest highlight of my junior year was reaching the state tournament as a team and advancing to the semi-final game. Following my junior season, I also played fall ball with Sticks where I got to know many of the guys I’ve been competing against. During the fall I hit the ball really well, and in 32 ABs I batted .500 with 3 HR, 6 2B, and 2 3B.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
HEINEN: My goals for this upcoming year are to play baseball at the highest level, and to contribute to a great college team anyway I can. I’m excited for my senior year of baseball to get started so I can get back out there with the guys and help Urbandale go compete for another state title.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
HEINEN: No, I used to play football and basketball.
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
HEINEN: My GPA is currently 3.4 and I’m taking the ACT this fall
