RHP James Notary (Broomfield HS, CO), the top 2017 at Colorado’s Top Prospect Games in August, has been plucked by Texas Christian. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder made his verbal commitment to the Horned Frogs this week. He has good mechanics and an over-the-top slot that produces an 85-86 mph fastball. He gets good down angle and extension as well. His curveball has 12/6 shape with good, tight spin at 71 and his changeup has some fade at 72.
