MANDEVILLE, LA – The Prep Baseball Report Louisiana scouting staff headed over to St. Paul’s high school on Saturday afternoon, as the Wolves hosted Dutchtown high school and Denham Springs high school, in a doubleheader.

St. Paul's would take game one, defeating Dutchtown by a score of 6-2, as 2021 1B Matthew Russo (St. Paul's HS, LA) would collect two hits and two RBI to lead the way.

Game two would see the visiting Denham Springs Yellow Jackets eventually claim a 10-6 win in extra inning contest. Louisiana State recruit, and one of the top draft prospects in the state, 2019 SS Cade Doughty (Denham Springs HS, LA) would flash the leather defensively, making a couple spectacular plays, while also putting together a multi-hit performance that included a loud double to straight-away center field.
