Lake Charles Preseason ID: Pitcher Analysis

Moss Bluff, LA - On Saturday, January 4, 2025, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff traveled to the Sam Houston High School, to host our first event of the preseason, which featured prospects across the state's 2025-2029 classes. Each participant went through a pro-style workout that consisted of running a laser-timed 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, defensive evaluations, and batting practice using Trackman Baseball and Blast Motion. Pitchers finished the day off by throwing a bullpen with Trackman Baseball to receive all of their data and metrics. Below, we take a look at the scouting reports of all the pitchers that were in attendance.

Positional Profile: RHP/C Louisiana-Lafayette commit
Body: 6-1, 220-pounds. Physical and durable.
Delivery: 1B side of rubber, slower build up in delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm action, 3/4 slot.
FB: T94, 92-94 mph. Exploded through the zone and he commanded it. T2445, 2363 average rpm.
CB: 73-75 mph. Sharp 11-5 break. T2540, 2414 average rpm.
SL: 77-79 mph. Dropped arm slot some, short lateral break. T2331, 2279 average rpm.
