New England Insider: Uncommitted Underclass Spotlight - Brenden Cournoyer
Name: Brenden Cournoyer
Position: RHP

Ranked: 46th in New England 2017 Class
Scouting Report: Burly right-hander (6-foot-4, 250-pounds) who showed all three pitches from a clean and on-time ¾ slot. The body is thick and the delivery is clean and on time. Pitched in the low-80s with a good feel for the spin pitch 66-70 mph, which had depth and tilt to it. The changeup was 70-74 mph and he threw it in all counts with good arm action. The delivery has a little back tilt to it and the leg lift is medium height and under control. Showed the ability to be quick to the plate and still handle the delivery. Like his future, little clean up here and there, would make him a dude on the mound.
