March 21 marks opening day for the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) schools across the state. With public school season underway the majority of Maryland high school baseball is under way with most private schools officially into their season for the past couple of weeks.

This week PBR Maryland will be doing a season preview for each of the four classes in the MPSSAA. Included below are a list of top prospects, our playoffs predictions and notes on the sections, and our state playoff predictions. Let’s get our 2016 season preview started with 1A.
