Michigan Underclass Spotlight: Obie Ricumstrict, SS/RHP, 2017
Name: Obie Ricumstrict
Position: SS/RHP
Class: 2017
High School: Mt. Pleasant
Height/Weight: 6-foot-1, 160-pounds
Ranked: 18th in 2017 MI Class
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 160-pound long and lanky athletic prospect. On the mound throws strikes, mixes well with his fastball and changeup. Fastball sits 78-79 with a little sink; curve-ball has a little depth at 68 mph. Great actions at shortstop with excellent range and hands. Ran a 4.24 home to 1st. Good separation and quick hands at the plate, hits to all fields. Bat speed registers well with some pop, will only increase with added strength.
