2025 Prep Baseball Minnesota Preseason All-State: Event Preview

Savage, Minnesota - On March 15th & 16th, Prep Baseball heads to the MASH Campus in Savage to host the Prep Baseball Minnesota Preseason All-State event. This two-day invite-only event will feature over 350 prospects from the 2026 through 2028 classes, including over 90 players that are currently ranked in the state.

The premier spring event gives us an opportunity to take a closer view at a number of Minnesota's top talents, along with introducing us to some under-the-radar and underclass prospects that have made considerable strides recently.

EVENT HISTORY

Last year's Preseason All-State featured a number of strong performances.

There were five arms throwing 90 or better on the mound, including Cretin Derham Hall's John Henry Kohorst (2025, LHP/OF, Iowa commit). The lefty was up to 90.1 MPH in his bullpen and would later make his commitment to the University of Iowa in April.

Andover outfielder Danny Scheller (2026, OF/RHP, SUIE commit) would put together one of the better all-around postion player performances, rattling off a 6.88 run, threw 90 from the outfield, and post a max exit velocity of 100.5 MPH. Scheller would receive an invite to the 2024 Future Games immediately following the event.

LOOKING AHEAD TO THE WEEKEND

The 2025 Prep Baseball Minnesota Preseason All-State is poised to be an electrifying event, bringing together an array of talent from across the state. With a high volume of ranked players in attendance this showcase promises to be a big stage filled with state's top prospects.
