2025 MSHSAA Team Preview: Oak Park Northmen
March 16, 2025
The Missouri high school baseball season kicks off on Mar. 20, opening day for regular season action under MSHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Missouri Preseason Power 25 Rankings.
Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.
Our 2025 preseason coverage continues today.

Coach’s Insight: “We are returning 3 of our 4 starting pitchers from a year ago who should be in position to take the next step forward. We feel like we have a solid mix of arms that should allow us to compete. We have some good experience back in our lineup as well who were a part of a Conference Championship effort. We are returning 2 big run producers in the middle of our order along with a couple of other bats who can take the next step. We will be asking returning players to step into bigger roles, some of them who haven't been in those roles before. We expect to have a lot of competition filling out the back of our lineup and pitching staff. We expect there to many players contributing this year who have yet to have varsity playing experience. We expect it to take some time to find our offensive identity while trying to find the right pieces to fit. ” – Joe Kinder, head coach
