A year ago, LHP Jake Lochner (Sullivan HS, MO) was pitching in the mid 80s and uncommitted—though he had Division I interest. Fast forward to now, just a few weeks before his senior season starts, and things are vastly different. He committed to Missouri State last summer, but after his performance at the Super 60, scouts are contacting him and having him fill out questionnaires with the draft less the four months away. It’s all new territory for Lochner.
