Piper has continued to swing the bat well in ‘21, batting .401 with a career-high 12 homers through 42 games -- after going deep nine times in 21 games last year. He has plus right-handed raw power and consistently produces high-end exit velocity. Piper is also a standout athlete who excels behind the plate, where he calls his own game and posts 1.9-second pop times thanks to advanced catch-and-throw skills.
