With the winter showcase season heating up in a few weeks, we will high light some of the players that will be attending PBR-Missouri Winter Showcases. Today we will look at Drew Baughman (CBC, 2021) who will be attending the St. Louis Open Showcase on Feb. 8.

Baughman is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event he ran a 4.37 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During hitting evaluations, Baughman has a leg kick into his load, some rhythm with his hands, in line stride, smooth yet explosive swing. Defensively, smooth actions, fluid footwork, clean arm action, high three-quarter release, clean transfers, momentum towards target, positional velo of 81 mph, mostly accurate throws.
