Multi-sport athletes are nothing new. Every year, there are baseball prospects that excel in other sports. Some even have an opportunity to play multiple sports in college, like OF Monte Harrison (Lee’s Summit West HS, MO), who is committed to Nebraska for baseball and football. That’s the most common combination seen, but baseball and basketball pops up every now and then. Rarely does a baseball prospect also find success in soccer. SS Keith Grieshaber (Marquette HS, MO) is one of those rare athletes. He grew up playing both sports and as he was entering high school, it looked like soccer was going to be his future, but he just couldn’t quite let go of baseball.
