Drew Politte

Sophomore RHP Drew Politte has been a reliable, go to starter on the mound for JeffCo. Politte has racked up 42 innings pitched on the year over 9 appearances, good for a 5-2 record. Additionally, the righty also is sporting a 3.86 ERA and 1.43 WHIP on the year with 39 strikeouts (third most on the team). Known for his competitiveness on the mound, Politte has ran his fastball up to 89 mph this spring while commanding a sweeper-like slider at 72-75 mph and a true swing-and-miss changeup with strong arm side fade.
