The Alexander Central Cougars hosted the Davie War Eagles on Tuesday Night as both teams kicked off their 2023 season. Down 3-2 in the top of the 7th Davie shortstop Coy James hit a long home run to left to tie the game. Alexander Central would get the walkoff win in the bottom half on a Bubba Pope single to right center.
