Commitment Tracker: February 1 – 14, 2019

The past two weeks have been big for several seniors across North Carolina with 14 of them committing to their next school.  Nine of the fourteen committed to junior colleges with Catawba Valley CC collecting 4 commitments and Rockingham CC taking 2 commits.

This week’s list of commitments brings the 2019 class in North Carolina to 355 commitments.  The 2019 class as been very strong.   Couple that with this being PBR’s third year in North Carolina and it looks like the 2019 class should fly past the total commitments tracked in the 2018 class in North Carolina.

 

Commitment Notes

+  Jack Masonis (OF, Myers Park HS, 2019) commits to Emory University.  The right handed hitter has run a sub7.00 sixty for PBR while producing an exit velocity of 89 mph off the bat.   A solid defender with feel for the barrel, he will have a chance to help Emory early in his career.
