With the 2021 high school season just around the corner PBR North Carolina recently updated the Class of 2021 player rankings expanding to the top 275 in the state. PBR was able to run several events and scout days throughout the fall allowing players to showcase their progress. Along with several new players being ranked it also helped other guys make big jumps from their previous ranking. 

NC 2021 Class Rankings - High Risers

AIDAN SMITH RHP / OF / GASTON DAY, NC / 2021 Rankings  StateRank: 79 / POS: 24   The highest riser in the updated player rankings jumping 98 spots from No. 177 to No. 79. He had a strong showing at the Mooresville Prospect ID this fall. His fastball has been up to 88 mph (2520 rpm) and could see more growth in the future with added strength to his 6-foot-4, 170-pound frame.
