West Forsyth Takes the Ship in Kannapolis
West Forsyth used competitive at-bats up and down the lineup, along with stellar pitching to take home the championship from the Kannapolis Intimidators Spring Break tournament, over Carson HS. The tournament, in its 20th year, featured several schools from Cabarrus County and West Forsyth. Each game was played in the A home of the Kannapolis Intimidators, an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
AL Brown Rallies Late to Down Salisbury
A wild game at the Kannapolis Intimidators Spring Break Tournament saw AL Brown jump out to an early lead, and still need late game heroics to capture the win. AL Brown scored 3 in their final at-bat to down Salisbury HS by a score of 6-5.
