Middle Creek was tied 2-2 with Cardinal Gibbons HS after two and a half innings; however, it was all Middle Creek for the rest of the game. Middle Creek scored 4 runs in the third inning, two runs in the fourth inning, and one run in the fifth inning on a towering homerun by Bryce Dail. 

Middle Creek sophomore, LHP, Ryan Morris, kept Cardinal Gibbons off balance for five innings, striking out 7 in the win. Through the middle innings Morris set the tone of the game, allowing the offense some time to take control, striking out 6 hitters in a row from the 3rd - 5th.
