South ATL Border Battle: Scout Blog - Braves

PBR was on hand for the 2020 South Atlantic Border Battle held at the High Point Rockers Stadium in High Point, NC. The teams are coached by Area Scouts for MLB teams. The event featured lots of talent from up and down the east coast. Featured today is the Braves Scout Team which showcased several of the best players in North Carolina from 2021 Class.

Khalil Watson, MIF, Wake Forest, 2021
NC State commit. Quick twitch athlete at 5-foot-10, 178-pounds. Electric player who stood out throughout the weekend. Left hand hitter with a loose swing with the ball carrying off his barrel during batting practice. Extremely comfortable and confident with zone awareness in the box putting together quality at bats. Tripled in his first at bat crushing a ball off the center field wall. Had a base hit to left center against a lefty in his second at bat, barreled another ball to left on day 2. Hands work on the infield with fluid actions. Athleticism stands out in all phases of his game.
