Rolesville Keyed by Youth in Win Over Garner

Game Recap:
Rolesville's Grant Holman (RHP, 2020) and Jayden Bailey (RHP, 2020) limited Garner to 2 runs (1 earned) on 4 hits while walking 3. Homan earned the win, working into the 5th.  Bailey closed teh final 2.1 innings for the save, throwing 20 of his 35 pitches for strikes. 

Rolesville's offense was led by Michael Gupton (CF, 2022), an NC State commit, who was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and two stolen bases.  His efforts in the first and second, leading off each inning lead to a quick 5-0 lead after two innings of play.  In the 2nd, Spencer Faulkner followed Gupton's leadoff walk with a home run to right field.

Garner had four players who contributed 1 hit apiece. Nolan McLean (SS, 2020) led the way with a double, RBI, and run scored.
