NC: Winebarger, Forbush Blank South Point

Peyton Winebarger shutdown South Point for 6 1/3 innings and then Blake Winebarger completed the shutout to help Forbush advance to the third round of the NCHSAA 2A state playoffs. The left hander was effective all night before reaching his pitch count with one out in the seventh.

Forbush jumped to an early lead plating two in the first, coming on hits from Wesley Wood and Carter Foster.  The Falcons would add another 2 in the 3rd.
