Prep Baseball was on hand for the Championship Game of the Southwest Wake 4A Conferenc Tournament.  Apex scratched a run in the second inning and fourth inning to take a 2-0 lead into the fifth inning. Apex HS starting pitcher Dane Purdy did not allow a hit until the fifth inning. 

Apex Friendship scored three runs on one hit in the fifth inning. Braden Blooms soft line drive with the bases loaded scored two runs. A third run scored on a fielding error. Apex Friendship added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth on a sacrifice fly Bryce Cannon.  

Apex Friendship senior RHP, Simon Martone, threw a complete game with six strikeouts.
