The Bobby Murray Tournament has been a Spring Break stable in North Carolina dating back to the early 1990s. Many times this tournament has served as a preview to the 2nd half of the season as the tournament winner has often times gotten hot after the tournament and made some noise in the NC State Playoffs.  

This year the event featured  2 brackets of four teams with the No. 1’s playing each  other, the No. 2’s playing each other.  The preliminary rounds took place at Holly Springs HS and Millbrook HS, with the final day, the seeded games, taking place at Millbrook HS.

This year’s tournament featured Millbrook, Wakefield, Buckeye Valley, Middle Creek, Athens Drive, Southwest Guilford, Holly Spring, Green Level, Broughton, Jordan, Green Hope, and Leesville Rd.  Leesville would ultimately take the championship, playing well over the course of 3 days.
