Colleyville Heritage HS, TX, is a team to watch this spring with top 2017 RHP Alex Scherff, but also has a glimpse of the future in the infield. Manning shortstop is top 2019 Bobby Witt Jr., an Oklahoma recruit, and now the Panthers have another Division I recruit in 2B/3B Mason Greer. He recently committed to Auburn. Like Witt Jr., Greer is the son of a former big leaguer. His father is Rusty Greer, who played nine seasons with the Texas Rangers.
