The spring season is approaching and there are still plenty of talented seniors left on the recruiting market. Last week, we highlighted pitchers last week and turn to the other half of the battery this week.

Baily has a strong, athletic build at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds. He starts open at the plate, takes a leg kick stride to a closed stance and shows a short, compact swing. Behind the plate, he has pop times in the 2.03-2.09 range at 76 mph. He has a solid set-up and is a good receiver, though he stabs at times. He’s fundamentally sound with his blocking technique and has energy behind the plate. He also runs a 7.4-second 60.
