We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2023 Scout Day: CT Crush. This was a great opportunity for 2024-2027 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

2023 Scout Day: CT Crush - Quick Hits
The Position Players
- Jake Treat, 2026- A left-handed stick, drives the baseball with authority to the left-center field gap with ease. An advanced approach, multiple balls squared up in batting practice. Major feel around the bag at first, is a defensive weapon.
- Edward Torres, 2025- A right-handed hitter, gap to gap line drive pop, an above average runner, ran a sub seven sixty-yard dash. Shows a soft glove and good range up the middle with carry across the diamond.
- Cameron Payne, 2027- A right-handed hitter, middle infielder, twitchy athlete. Moves well in infield, with arm strength across the diamond at 78 mph. Solid stroke in game play.
- Jack Leaf, 2026- A right-handed hitter, long strider, an athlete, has some projection.
- Nicholas Maynard, 2026- A left-handed hitter, line drive swing to gaps, moves well at 3rd base. Look for the bat to play.
- Caleb Simoneau, 2026- A right-handed hitter, showed well on both sides of the field. Good actions and flow defensively, the arm was clocked at 80 mph.
- Andrew Hardin, 2025- A right-handed hitter, larger frame, moves well behind the dish with arm strength. Showed strength with the bat, driving the baseball from gap to gap.
The Arms
- Tanner Smith, 2026- A left-handed pitcher, delivery is smooth, clean and easy arm action. Fastball reached 75 mph, with a ton more in there.
- Andrew Sevigny, 2026- A left-handed pitcher, longer, slim frame, with plenty of room for added weight gains. Longer, loose arm action, mid 70’s fastball with life, comes out of his with ease. Showed a solid breaking ball.
- Evan Aubin, 2025- A right-handed pitcher, arm action is short and clean. The fastball touched 79 mph, spin rate close to 2600.
- Kevin Johnson, 2026- A left-handed pitcher, longer, loose arm action. Quick, up-tempo delivery, lots of arms and legs coming at the hitter, not easy to square up, natural ride to the fastball, clocked at 80 mph, with a 2300 spin rate.
- Camden Ogden, 2026- A right-handed pitcher, bigger durable frame. The arm action is clean on the backside, and gets down the mound. Fastball was up to 84 mph, chance to be a power guy down the road. Spin rate was over 2500 on his 75 mph breaking ball.
- Colin Mitchell, 2024- A right-handed pitcher, bigger frame, burly type. Sinking armside fastball at 79 mph, slider ball at 69 mph. Lives in the bottom part of the zone.

Liam Hodson, 2025- A right-handed pitcher, short and loose arm action, tons arm side run, fastball at 79 mph, heavy horizontal movement. Shows some velocity to the breaking ball.
