With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2015-2016 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.

New England Insider: Uncommitted Underclass Spotlight - Owen Batchelder, LHP
Name: Owen Batchelder
Position: LHP
Height/Weight: 6-foot-3, 170 pounds
School: Souhegan
Ranked: 11th in 2017 class
Scouting Report: Long and clean left-hander who threw the ball nicely at the Futures Game. He has a simple and on time delivery. Needs some top half tweaks to improve his command and velocity but like his arm and projection. The fastball sits 81-84 with life and run. The breaking ball is slurvy and needs to be revamped, which he is working on, right now its stiff wristed at 61-64. The changeup had action to it at 71-74 and he threw it to both left and right-handed hitters. Good athleticsm on the mound and showed plenty of moxy on the day.
