2025 Program Preview: Centennial Bulldogs

The 2025 Nevada High School baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams throughout the Silver State.
Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons by raising the 2025 NIAA State Championship trophy, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams throughout Nevada and will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Top 10 Rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK
One of the tradition baseball powers in the Silver State, Centennial is looking continue that tradition behind first year Head Coach, Chris Martinez. Coach Martinez has been a staple in the Las Vegas Baseball Community for the last decade plus and now his turn has come to take over a program that is primed to make deep runs for the next few years.
With Nevada's #1 ranked 2027, Jake Turner, being a massive addition to the roster as a key contributor on both sides of the ball, the senior core of Seattle University Signee - Tyler Jackson, Hamilton College Signee - Noah Oyadomari, Bemejida University Signee - Kyle Kono, Gabe Soto along with Uncommmitted junior and two time Prep Baseball Future Gamer, Kane Barber, make this group that will have consistent threats on the offensive of the ball as well as on the mound. The Bulldogs are a notoriously known for playing the game the right way, making opposing pitchers work in the zone and not beating themselves. This mixture of Upperclass leadership with high level Underclass talent makes this a group that could very well be in it at the end the year in Reno.
