Unsigned Seniors: Top 10 Available Outfielders From This Summer's Events

The     Prep Baseball Report has made its way to New York producing  eight   top   flight events between June and Sept. In that time we have seen    over 50  class of 2015 outfielders through the door and with that came  some    next  level talent. With 20 players already making verbal  commitments,    here's a look at the top 10 outfielders in the class of 2015  still  available from this years events. 
1. Mickey Mullins, OF, Vestal HS, NY (2015)
Mullins stands an  athletic 5-foot-10 160-pounds with great athleticism proven by his 6.85 60 time.  In the OF he gets behind the baseball fielding to his glove side, quick  transfer, small crow hop to a 3/4 slot. Arm strength was 81 mph a showcase best  from the OF with carry. At the plate his setup is upright and relaxed, slightly  wide. On the pitch he uses a straight back load and stride for timing. Hands  explode inside the ball with above average power potential, short path and level  plane. Extension through contact with a shoulder height finish. Exit velocity  off a tee was 91 mph.
2. Matt Zakala, OF, Rome Free Academy HS, NY (2015)
Zakala  stands 6-foot-1, 180-pounds with an athletic build and shows above  average athleticism evidence  by his 6.96 60 time. From the OF he  fields/catches to his glove side, clean  transfer, opens his front side  and hips up early, throws from a high 3/4 slot  with an 80 mph arm  strength, keeps the ball low. At the plate his setup is wide,  weight  back. Loads on pitch, uses a heel lift before driving his hands inside   the ball will above average bat speed at 87 mph off a tee. Path is  short, bat  plane is uphill, finish needs more balance.
3. John Zamites, OF, Olean HS, NY  (2015)
Zamites stands 6-foot-0, 180-pounds and  solidly put together. He shows extreme athleticism evidenced from his 60 time at 6.79. In the outfield he moves quickly to the ball, he fields the ball outside his glove  hand, transfers on the way up, uses a long arm action from a high-¾ slot at 76  mph. At the plate his setup is wide with his weight back, hands start low in  middle of chest, load back on the pitch and uses a leg lift and stride for  timing. He uses a short path to the ball, hands stay inside the baseball, bat  plane is fairly level, extension through contact with a shoulder height one  handed finish.
4. Jordan Bernacet, OF, Schenectady HS, NY (2015)
Bernacet stands 5-foot-9  170-pounds with an athletic build. From the OF he uses prep steps to get to  the ball,  stays behind and fields low to his glove side. Uses an explosive crow   hope, long arm action from a mid ¾ slot at 83 mph, he really gets his  whole body  into the throws with great extension and through his back  side. At the plate  he starts with his hands relaxed by his back shoulder, stands upright and feet  are shoulder width apart. On the pitch he uses a leg kick and stride, hands are  quiet before coming forward. His bat path is slightly inclined through the zone,  he uses extension through contact and a high finish. He generates plus bat speed  at 85 mph off a tee.
5. Sean Nickerson, OF, Horseheads HS, NY (2015)
Nickerson  stands 6-foot-0, 170-pounds and has a nice loose arm. He looks very comfortable in the  outfield with good instincts and movements. His arm works free and easy with  nice carry on the ball, 84 mph arm from a high-3/4 slot. At the plate he has good hand speed with an 83  mph exit tee velocity. Long Path, level bat plane with extension out in front. 
6. Matt Carey, OF, Webster Thomas HS, NY  (2015)
Carey stands 6-foot-2,  170-pounds with a projectable frame with a lot to like. He plays the outfield  well and moves faster than his times suggest. He read a ball off the ball well  in the game portion and made a diving superman catch in the gap showing great  athleticism. He fields the ball glove side, uses a small crow hop for momentum  and throws from a high ¾ slot, 81 mph, with a loose arm that projects more in  the tank. At the plate he starts with a wide stance and weight shifted back. On  the pitch he back loads and uses a small stride for timing, His bat path is  long, hands cast some but bat stays level through the zone and shows consistent  strong contact.
7. Matt Van Allen, OF, West Genesee HS, NY  (2015)
Van Allen stands 6-foot-3,  215-pounds and has a lot to like in size and strength. From the OF he fields the  ball on his glove side, shuffles his feet towards target and uses a long arm  action to a high ¾ slot at 79 mph with some carry. If he focuses his efforts  this winter on building arm strength good things could come this spring. At the  plate he sets up wide with his weight back. On the pitch he uses a back load,  hands drop some, bat path is long, plane is slightly inclined through the zone,  he generates powerful bat speed at 87 mph off a tee, he uses long extension and  a high finish.
8. Nick Chilson, OF, Johnson City, HS NY (2015)
Chilson stands 6-foot-1  175-pounds with a great lean baseball body. From the OF he gets behind the ball  well, in the game moves well laterally evidenced by his 6.98 60 time, fields  glove side, uses a small crow hop for power, long arm action to a high 3/4 slot.  Arm strength was 77 mph with carry. At the plate wide approach, weight shifted  back. Uses a back load, short path, slightly uphill path, extension through  contact should height finish. Exit velocity off a tee was 85 mph showing above  average power potential.
9. Joe Parrillo, OF, East Islip HS, NY  (2015)
Parrillo stands 5-foot-7 160-pounds. Don't let the size fool  you, Parrillo has some above average next level tools. He should athleticism  running a 7.0 60 yard dash, from the outfield he stays behind the ball, quick  transfer, crow hop for power staying lined up to target, throws from a high 3/4  slot with 80 mph arm strength getting the most out of his frame. At the plate  his setup is crouched but athletic. Wide stance to a high knee lift on the  pitch. Short path to the ball with a 75 mph exit velocity. Bat plane is level  with good extension through contact, finish is shoulder  height.
10. Nicholas Petrosino, OF, Auburn HS, NY  (2015)
Petrosino stands 5-foot-11 165-pounds with room for growth. In  the OF me moves well (6.89 60) and under control. Fields the ball glove side,  takes a little long from glove to release, throws from an over the top slot, arm  strength consistently at 76 mph with carry and height. At the plate his setup is  balanced with not a lot of weight transfer. On the pitch he strides forward  driving his hands inside the ball, short path, uphill path with extension  through contact, high finish. Exit velocity was 76 mph.
