With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2025 Spring Team Preview: Greeneview Rams

Team Name: Greeneview Rams
Head Coach: John-Marc Brooks

2024 Record: 19-8
2024 Tourney Finish: District Finals loss to Brookville
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4

Coach Outlook: "This team is very scrappy. If they play as well as I think they can, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them make a run and shock some people. They are easily intimidated and like a challenge. They appear to have a chip on their shoulder like that have something to prove. I’m excited to see how the year plays out."

  • Trevor Moore: Catcher/RHP, 2025, 6-2/185, R/R 4 year letterman, Team captain, attending OU in fall, all area and all conference player in 24. Last year stats- .343 AVG, 6 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 17 RBI, 35 Runs (didn’t pitch last year due to catcher limitations) committed 1 error on the year in 144 TC 
  • Nick Hassid: SS/RHP, 2027, 6-0/140, L/R. 2 year starter as a sophomore, all area player in 24. Last years stats- .349 Avg, 3 2B, 1 3B, 19 RBI, 29 R, 12 SB, ERA 2.80
  • Max Penrod: 1B/OF/LHP, 2025, 6-0/185, L/L, 3 year letterman, Hocking commit, all area all conference player in 24. Last year stats .424 Avg 39 Hits 4 2B 2 3B 37 RBI 20 Runs 8 SB
  • Chase Walker: OF/RHP, 2025, 6-0/185, L/R, 4 year letterman, all area player in 24. Last year stats 320 Avg. 24 hits 4 2B 2 3B 20 RBI 16 Runs 8 SB
