OK Top Prospect Upperclass Games Roster Preview: Part Six

Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

As we gear up for one of our top invite-only events of the year, the Oklahoma Top Prospect Upperclass Games, we will begin breaking down our notes on each of the prospects who will be in attendance. This year, the Upperclass Games will see many of the state’s top athletes from the 2026 and 2027 classes compete, giving them an opportunity to be seen by numerous college coaches during an open-contact period of recruitment. This year’s event will be held on June 3rd at Oral Roberts University.

Brody Pierce 3B / RHP / Southmoore High School, OK / 2027

Pierce has a lean, projectable frame, that gives him plenty of room to add strength and should see his numbers climb as he does. On the mound, he was in the low 80s with his fastball, topping out at 82.7 mph. He worked off the heater with a changeup and slider. At the plate, he displayed some present power with exit velocities in the mid 80s.

Diego Rochin C / OF / Westmoore, OK / 2027

Rochin has a compact, athletic build with room for some added strength. He uses a short, flat bat path through the zone, and showed some ability to find the barrel. Behind the dish, he put down pop times between 2.05-2.15 seconds.

Tyler Robinson OF / 2B / EDMOND MEMORIAL, OK / 2026

Another Future Games participant from last summer, Robinson has a lean, athletic frame with room to continue to add some more strength. At the plate, he has displayed the ability to consistently barrel balls up, and showed off present power, running his exit velocity numbers up to 97 mph. He continues to impress athletically each time we see him, with 60 yard dash times as low as 6.32 seconds.

Jaxon Rice OF / LHP / Deer Creek, OK / 2026

Rice has an athletic build, with the frame to continue adding some more strength. It will be our first look at him in about a year, but in when we last saw him the left-hander was in the upper 70s with his fastball, topping at 79.8 mph. He worked off the fastball with a curve and a changeup. he displayed some nice athleticism, running a 6.88 second 60 yard dash.

Brody Ross RHP / Chickasha, OK / 2026

Ross has a long, projectable frame, standing at 6'5 170 lbs. In our most recent look at him, last July, he ran his fastball up to 85 mph from a 3/4 arm slot. His curveball showed some good depth, and a nice changeup with arm-side run rounded out the arsenal.

Jace Schulz RHP / OF / Thomas-Fay-Custer, OK / 2027

Schulz measured in at 5'11 220 lbs when we saw him last February. The right-hander uses a short, strong arm action from an over the top arm slot. The fastball was in the upper 70s for the most part, but touched 80 mph. He utilizes a high-spin curveball as his go-to offspeed offering.

Talon Scott SS / OF / Weatherford High School, OK / 2027

Scott has a long, wiry frame with room to continue to add more strength. At the plate, the RHH uses a short, flat bat path through the zone, and proved able to find the barrel with some regularity. He displayed some present power as well, with exit velocity numbers as high as 89 mph. He showed off solid athleticism as well, clocking a 60 yard dash time of 7.06 seconds.

Kix Stephens C / RHP / Byng, OK / 2027

This will be our first opportunity to see Stephens, who was a key piece for a solid Byng squad this spring, logging a lot of innings behind the plate as the Pirates' everyday catcher, while also getting some time on the mound.

Tyler Stevenson OF / RHP / Bixby, OK / 2026

Stevenson has a compact, physical build, measuring in at 5'7 167 lbs. At the plate he showed off nice barrel control as well as some present power, topping out his exit velocity at 92 mph. Defensively he displayed nice arm strength, being gunned at 83 mph throwing it in from the outfield.

Waylon Spencer 2B / SS / Stillwater, OK / 2026

This will be our first look in about a year at Spencer, who saw an increased role this spring after transferring from Stillwater to Ripley, earning some time as the Warriors' DH and putting up solid numbers at the plate.
