Team: Ontario Blue Jays Prospect Update: Armorer, a 2020 grad listed at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with room to add size and strength to his frame. Armorer had a strong summer where continued to make gains at the plate and in the outfield, and followed that up with a strong performance at the Top Prospect Games in August where he showed off his athleticism as he ran a 6.90 sixty, was 88 mph from the outfield with loose and quick arm that was accurate with carry and a more advanced feel and setup at the plate. There is bat speed to work with an a looseness to his swing, not much movement in his hands and lower half and when he was on time, was able to spray the ball in the gaps and get extension which allowed him to get the ball in the air. 2019 Projection: |
