December 6, 2012
Jacob Digiacomo, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound RHP/OF from Saegertown HS has committed to Penn State Behrend. He is coming off of a 4-0 season for the Panthers who will return all but one member of their varsity roster one year removed from advancing to the final eight in the state AA playoffs. Digiacomo will likely take on many of the innings of graduated LHP Ryan Paden.
The lanky right-hander showed well in all facets of the game at the PA Top Prospect Classic in August. He tossed a scoreless inning touching 81mph, showed a solid arm from the outfield at 83mph and had two hits in three at bats during game play.
