Throughout the preseason we'll be highlighting top newcomers with our Rookie Review installments. We came away impressed from the Powerballers scout day with a Freshman middle infielder who showed both poise in the field and a natural switch-hitting skillset.

ROOKIE REVIEW
What We Liked: The 5-foot-10, 150-pounder caught plenty of barrels during a comfortable batting practice round from the right side and equally produced as a left-hander with feel to go backside gap on occasion. Worked his way into the upper 80's for exits (87 mph peak) with a 42% line drive rate. Future top of the order skillset and then flashed a rangy first step and feel for his body in space. Made one play in particular to his backhand that should be a sign of things to come (83 mph arm). Profiles as a close follow in the class with some rawness still to his game.
