This region 2-AAAA matchup was a back and forth contest that went in favor of Wade Hampton.  After a pitchers duel in game 1 on Monday night, we had the exact opposite in game 2 as the two teams combined for 21 hits.  The Generals jumped out to an early lead but Greer kept battling back all night.  Wade Hampton was able to strand the tying run in scoring position in the 7th to hang on for a huge region win early in the season.
